In this session, we'll look at how to leverage the dojo approach to immersive learning to transform into a—or become a more effective—product organization. We'll look at the ins and outs of the dojo model while covering the application of the model to project-to-product change initiatives through a variety of case studies and stories.

David Laribee is a coach, developer, teacher, international speaker, and co-founder of Nerd/Noir. David also serves as the Head of Dojos and Strategic Advisor for Cprime, which has the longest-running and largest dojo practice in the industry.

David has been at the forefront of several movements in software development. He helped create the dojo approach to immersive learning, popularize lean and kanban methods, and introduce product thinking to the agile landscape. As an engineering leader, David was an early adopter of eXtreme Programming and Domain Driven Design. David is a former Microsoft MVP in both Solutions Architecture and C# and co-founder of the ALT.NET movement, with dozens of user groups across the globe dedicated to open source and modern engineering practices.
